Visioning for Corporate Sustainability: A Leadership Model

Abstract:

In this paper, the literature on vision, vision communication, follower emotional commitment and sustainable performance is reviewed. Then a model is developed, showing hypothesized relationships between vision attributes and contents, vision communication, follower emotional commitment and sustainability performance outcomes for future testing. Hypotheses as well as some directions for testing them are also discussed.
