Four CMMU faculty members has been accepted to present their papers in Taiwan, France and US. More information is as follows:

CMMU Faculty Research Accepted at Top Management Conferences
Research by CMMU faculty member Dr. Kiattichai Kalasin has been accepted for presentation at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, August 3-7, 2012 in Boston, USA. The Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM) is the top international academic conference in management. The title of Dr. Kiattichai’s paper is “Breaking out of the cage? The influence of institution-based critical resources”, investigating the international expansion of emerging-market firms. The Academy of Management publishes journals such as the Academy of Management Journal and the Academy of Management Review, which are ranked No. 1 and No. 4 among business journals globally by SSCI.  
Further, Dr. Kiattichai’s paper has also been accepted for presentation at the Academy of International Business (AIB) 2012 Annual Meeting, June 30 – July 3, 2012 Washington D.C. The Academy of International Business is the leading association of scholars in the field of international business. Apart from presenting his paper, Dr. Kiattichai has been accepted for the 9th Annual JIBS/AIB Paper Development Workshop, organized by the editors of the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS). JIBS is among the top 10 management journals in the world. Congratulations to Dr. Kiattichai.


Leadership Research Group, CMMU got continuous research grant for SEBS
In conjunction with the Thailand Research Fund, The Royal Development Projects Board has granted 4.6 million Baht to CMMU Leadership Research Group to develop the Sufficiency Economy Business Standard (SEBS) further and train SEBS appraisers nationwide. Since 2004, CMMU has continuously researched the application of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in business organizations, findings of which have informed policies and practices of numerous businesses in Thailand today.  With a total research grant of approximately 10 million baht in this area, CMMU is now nationally recognized as a pioneering center for the study of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in business organizations.
