The PhD in SL program is directed by TSDF Chair Professor Dr. Philip Hallinger. The PhD program faculty includes the two most highlycited management scholars in Thailand. All PhD program faculty actively publish in international refereed journals and have successfully mentored PhD graduates. We have qualified faculty available to mentor PhD students on sustainability research in the management areas of leadership, strategy, innovation, finance, education, supply chain, marketing, organizational behavior, environment, community development, and human resources.

Through the CMMU Center for Research on Sustainable Leadership (CRSL), the Thailand Sustainable Development Foundation (TSDF) offers very generous support for highly qualified applicants. These research grants also offer exciting opportunities for PhD students to gain meaningful research experience on projects that impact the society.

Royal Golden Jubilee PhD Research Support
Seven CMMU full-time faculty members are eligible to supervise students on behalf of the Royal Golden Jubilee PhD Scholarship Program, awarded by the Thailand Research Fund.

Thailand Sustainable Development Foundation

TSDF is a non-profit organization that was established on 25 July 2014. Its primary objective is to promote development that provides for balance and sustainability in Thailand’s economy, society, environment, and culture. TSDF activities are implemented by its affiliate, the Thailand Sustainable Development Institute.

The guiding principle for TSDF’s work is the philosophy of “sufficiency economy” as elaborated by King Rama IX.
