CMMU Organized the 5th “Asian Management Executive Seminar”

In July 2012, CMMU once again organized a one-week seminar called 'Asian Management - Executive Seminar'. The seminar was attended by 21 MBA students from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland, 2 MBA students from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador and 1 MBA student from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
The seminar focused on issues of intercultural management involved in doing business in the Asia-Pacific region. It was expressly designed to enable participants to exchange ideas with high-profile experts from academia and business.
The seminar comprised sessions conducted by CMMU faculty on cross-cultural management, retailing, leadership, entrepreneurship and knowledge management. Several company visits gave participants interesting insights into doing business in Thailand: Nestlé Thailand, Central Retail Group, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Thai President Food, Bangkok Airways and Centara Grand Samui.

Students gave enthusiastic feedbacks such as:
-
“The lecturers have a lot of knowledge and the company visits were very interesting”
-
“Very professional in every respect: well planned, well organized, exceptional access to companies at senior level with frank and open exchange of information”
-
“The lecturers and administrative personnel were very helpful. Their open-mindedness and real interest was a big plus”
