Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.)
The C.A.G.S. - also known in Thailand as a Higher Diploma was first popularized by higher education institutions in the USA. It is a certificate program, not a degree program, and is intended for people who already hold a Master degree. The coursework in a C.A.G.S. program focuses on practical application of management knowledge rather than on research.The C.A.G.S. program in Management at CMMU responds to the need among an increasing number of Master Degree graduates in Thailand and the region for post-graduate education in management. Many Master degree graduates wish to update their training and develop expertise in new or different management domains. For many, doctoral level education is both unnecessary and inappropriate to achieving professional goals concerned with practice rather than research.
